Welcome to COVkids Ministry—a safe place for kids to learn, explore, and discover who they are in Christ.

Children are important members of our church family. We want them to be part of our community, make friends of all ages, and learn about their faith. We understand, however, that big ideas can sometimes be tough for young minds. So, at Covenant, we use a step-by-step program to introduce them to “grown-up” worship.

Infants & Toddlers

On Sundays, loving nursery care is available throughout the entire service for infants and toddlers. Our nursery staff are consistent, experienced, Safe Sanctuary trained, and background-checked so you can be sure that your little ones are in excellent hands.

Preschool

Our preschool staff are background checked and Safe Sanctuary trained. They help little ones learn about God’s Word at their very own level. The stories read in preschool each week correspond to those learned by elementary students, and are accompanied by fun crafts and activities.

Kindergarten – 5th Grade

We believe it’s important for kids to gradually learn to participate in “big” worship. During the sermon time, elementary kids will be dismissed and escorted to The Cove for a special time of fun, discovery, and learning. There they will gather with other students their age so they can learn about God’s word at their own pace and level.

We’re in this together

We understand that kids have different needs. If your child prefers to remain with you during worship, he or she is welcome to do so. We’ll be happy to discuss any special concerns regarding your child. We’re eager to partner with you in your child’s success at Covenant.

Your child’s safety matters to us. All COVkids staff and volunteers must comply with our Safe Sanctuary policy. Children will always be supervised by at least two unrelated adults. In addition, all adults who work with children or youth are background-checked and Safe Sanctuary certified. If you have questions about our Safe Sanctuary policies, please talk with us. We want you to feel confident in your child’s well-being at Covenant.

Before Service

You will check-in at the COVkids desk to receive both a printed nametag and a security tag.

Verify the phone number listed on the nametag as we will use this number to text you during service if necessary.

Place the nametag on your child’s back and keep the security tag with you for pick up.

Once checked in you are free to escort your child to his or her classroom:
