In-Person Return

PHASE 4 (starts May 2, 2021)

We are deeply invested in caring for the physical and emotional well-being of our community during this in-between time as vaccine rollout continues with overwhelming success and our world is in flux once again.

We remain tenderly aware that some must continue strict mitigation practices for the sake of their health or that of their loved ones, even as more in the community are receiving vaccinations and increased immunity.

With this in mind, Phase 4 will allow for 2 identical worship services with different levels of mitigation:

9 AM

  • Strict mitigation expectations
  • Usher seating with social distancing maintained
  • Masking throughout the entirety of one’s time in the building.

10:30 AM

  • Employs a standard of mitigation that is self-governed
  • Individuals can choose when to mask
  • Self-selected seating allows one to choose the degree of distance from neighbors during worship. (Ushers are available to help.)

10:30 AM worship continues to be livestreamed for those who prefer to participate online.

Our Spanish Worship is at 12:30 PM in-person and online.

Test-drive the 9 AM worship experience

Phase 4

If a member of your family is not feeling well or is running a fever, we ask that you please stay home and watch online.

If you will be in contact with high-risk populations in the 48 hours following worship, please consider the risk to their health before attending.

Check-In Required

We will not be passing physical Connection Pads to collect attendance.

Instead, a table will be set up to check-in all worshipers. You can speed up this process by using the Church Center app to check-in your family.

We are no longer using Connect Cards in the pews to collect contact information. But, if you’re new, we still want to connect with you. Please use Plan-your-visit to help us connect with you and fast-track your check-in process.

Refreshments

For safety we have paused our full coffee bar service, however, individual packages of donut holes are available.

Restrooms

Restrooms will have a paper towel or wipe dispensers installed to provide covering for handling stall doors.

Restrooms will have foot-pulls to limit contact with restroom door handles.

Questions or Concerns?

We remain in a posture of humble listening and invite you to be part of the conversation. If you have a specific concern that’s not addressed, feel free to reach out to us.

Our plan for your kids

  • COVkids is open in-person for infant-5th grade
  • Infants-Preschool will remain in The Cove for the entire worship time.
  • Elementary students will start and end in worship with their families. We will verbally dismiss them to The Cove before the sermon.
  • The indoor playground will remain closed at this time.
  • Digital COVkids will continue to be available for those who prefer to worship from home.

If your child is new to COVkids, pre-register to fast-track your check-in.
