Youth Mission Trip Details

We will travel to our Youth Director’s hometown of Marshalltown, Iowa working as the feet, hands, and heart of God to help the town continue to recover from a devastating derecho storm that has had long-lasting effects on the residents and their homes.

We will be engaging in restoring homes and yards from trees and debris in low-income residents of Marshalltown, as well as helping Marshalltown First United Methodist Church with their summer children’s camp as a way for our students to teach, mentor, and love on these students.

This away trip offers youth the opportunity to enroll in meaningful service while sharing God’s love with others.

After a week of serving others, our trip will culminate with a “fun day” letting our students enjoy and relax in a new and beautiful place.

Price covers registration (food, lodging, work project), travel, and our “fun day” experience. We will be driving (bussing) to and from Iowa in a single day (leave July 18, return July 24).
